Moving foward in 2010....i met Robert Courtney (Founder of Uneekcollection) in 2008, i was instantly amazed at his drive and passion for his clothing line Uneekcollection, i pondered my dream and realized we were going in the same direction ..i began to believe that Uneek was some how connected to my destiny, well with that being said thankfully Rob had the same instinct. Uneekcollection stands for Unifying Nationalities by Education and Knowledge...so it's more than a clothing line ..Uneekcollection is a diverse company with diverse clothing, no we are not just Hip-Hop or Rock or Rap or we are all in one equal . With our many divers designs and quality materials Uneek strives to make a fashion statement with not only uneek pieces but a 'UNEEK '

"Make a fist"

I am in know way an English Major. So in my blogs please don't allow grammatical mistakes to distract from the real message. This is your personal access into my brain, which if your reading this then maybe it intrigues you a little bit. Maybe your intrigued by Uneek? Maybe your just passing thru? Whatever your reason is, were glad you stopped by and we hope you stay a while. Actually, we hope you never leave. I watched the movie Avatar last night and it really moved me on a few levels. The average watcher might have reasoned on the fictional characters and the cartoon like animations. I found it to be much, much deeper than that. It talked about being connected on levels much higher than human understanding. Now I'm not talking about nothing crazy. I'm not talking about thinking something and then having someone else do it. That's crazy talk. What I'm talking about is people coming together for a common goal and the power that comes in that. There isn't much that one finger can do, but 5 fingers used at the same time can do some pretty amazing things.

Uneek is simply a vehicle being used to bring people together for one common goal. TO EDUCATE! The more you know about someone the more barriers between you and that person are broken down. Its so simple its scary. But if its so simple, why is there still so much dislike and hatred? Besides the obvious reasons, there is a tremendous amount of stereotypes and uneducated people out there. If I where a Do-Rag, does that make me a thug? If I wear tight pants does that make me gay? If I don't wash my hair everyday does that make me dirty? So many things that have perfectly logical explanations, but its up to us to find out the answers. Uneek is about taking the responsibility to Educate. Ignorance is the enemy hear. BE UNEEK

There's is no substitute for hard work. That being said there is no promise that your hard work will pay off. We're constantly looking for how to books on how to do something better. We want to know a magic formula because everyone wants everything to come easy. The truth about the matter is that nothing worth having comes easy. That is unless of course you are born into a situation, but that only means that someone prior to you put in the work necessary to achieve the current state of affairs. There's certain things that I have realize for certain based on 7 years of being in business for myself.

1.) Your going to work more than the average person works.

2.) You can't do it by yourself. You must surround yourself with people that share your passion and drive about whatever it is your doing, or you will burn out.

3.) Its better to sacrifice early when your young and can afford to do it rather than wait to your older, with family and more responsibility.

4.) Everyone who knows nothing about your industry or field will have advice for you. Which is not a bad thing, but if you don't have your plan clearly defined in your own mind then you may constantly get thrown off track.

5.) Haters and Negativity loom like clouds on a rainy. Only difference is they never leave. You just have to be mentally prepared to handle people telling you that you can't do it. Don't take this personal. They can't help it. It's in the average person's nature to be a hater. Rise above it.

You may view these as obstacles. DON'T. If your riding down the road and some throws an object out in front of you, you may swerve and hit the wall or hit a car and it could be bad. But if someone tells you a mile before you approach the object that there is an object in the road its ok because you will have plenty of time to adjust.

I'm still learning and its so fun. Regardless of how many hours I work, the haters, the negativity, the so called experts, at the end of the day I work for me and that out ways anything I could come up against.

Faith is indeed a powerful thing. The bible says that with faith the size of a mustard grain you can move mountains. How deep is that? Maybe being perfect we would have been able to unlock the full potential of what having faith is really about? Its something about the unknown that sometimes frighten people. Faith is trusting the unknown. Believing with your heart, soul and mind that someone or something is real. Faith is believing in a plan that has not been tested. Faith is using passion, determination, and will to win over people with a dream. Beautiful human emotions that were given to us by God that are stronger than anything man could possibly invent, including money. Thats what 2009 has taught me the most. By putting faith in yourself anything is possible.

Then it made me think deeper. Makes me think if its possible for anyone to have faith? Is it something that you can just decide you want one day and then its automatically bestowed upon you? It would be great if this was possible, but we know its not like that. Faith is something that is built from nothing. It has to be nurtured and cultivated. NOTHING that's powerful in life comes easy including faith. Actually, the building blocks for faith are passion, determination, will, hardwork. The exact same qualities that allows you to make your faith real to other people. Thats when it hit me! THE LONGER THESE ACTIONS ARE FOLLOWED OVER A CONSISTENT PERIOD OF TIME, THE MORE FAITH ONE BUILDS! Why? The answer is so simple its scary. RESULTS! How is a recipe proven? Through good food!

Understanding the blueprint and having thus reaped benefits from such a rewarding journey, I now set my sights on 2010, "The Year of Uneek" and the wonderful adventures it will bring. Having seen results I can say with 100% certainity that my eyes rooted in faith. We have tasted good food based on an outstanding recipe for success! Our determination and hardwork is so unparallel it has brought an awesome team together that share the same passion and drive to one day move mountains. Our message is something that we hold dear to our heart and wont stop pushing until people in the dark jungles of Africa completely understand! Do know what UNEEKstands for? Dig deep For Hip Hop

So I have decided to finally dig into my culture as a fan of Hip Hop. I tend to see myself as an active affiliate.

With a recent job as UNEEK Nations Lifestyle Director Low 14 would love all the support you give, but guarantees you will participate! . "What I do is bring together people who fit there own perfect situation as UNEEK as "U" are. The company focuses on diversity and respect onto others. Compiling 100's of issues 15 year collection he now owns. The rap magazines help, Since I didn't read that many books I read the entire magazine. Today Low 14 writes for several blog spots. "Blogging is fairly new too me, but I enjoy expressing my opinions and relay thought s of others too". I will just have to keep up and eventualy find my space in the Industry. "Know one tells you everything, so you need to read everything so you have to be a reader".

Join Uneek Nation name game will take place on March 17th. All contestants must wear a white shirt and show proof of the shirt being completely white with no names on it via picture with a newpaper showing the date. Each constestant will approach as many people as possible asking them to join Uneek Nation and if they agree they must sign your shirt. Contestants who reall y want to win will use creative methods to get people to join the nation such as beads,etc. Contestants must get people to sign there name and email address legibly on the shirt with a marker until shirt is completely feeled with readable names. If you run out of space you may get a new white shirt and repeat the process. Person to get the most name and emails will win $100 and a chance to work for Uneek Collection. Individual will be spotlighted on the website www.uneekcollection.com and have a special shirt designed based upon a theme of his or her choice. "Ain't No Stopping Us NOW" as the song by (McFadden and Whitehead) says......We are on the Move! The Nation is on the move exploring many new exciting adventures and wide street avenues. 2 of our Nation Members have been on the road blazing a West Coast trail too hot to put out!! From Hollywood California to the MAGIC show in Las Vegas ending their Triple Threat week of festivities in Phoenix Arizona for the 2009 NBA All-Star Weekend. I have yet to get a full report on those events but I am sure they will have New Nation Members in tow. In 2 weeks I will continue the Nations Mission in San Juan Peurto Rico. The Caribbean Coast will get a glimpse of something special the Uneek Collection is getting ready to do. The ambitious road to success doesn't come easy. When we come together as a complete unit you will be relieved with the feeling of UNSTOPPABLE-NESS. Your relentless efforts are needed within yourself and should be expressed EVERYDAY! So your at the bar( school, club, gym, grocery store, mall, well you get the point) and you see "the girl". You know "the girl" who you continue to see all the time and she appears to be in her own little world. So much so that you wonder if she's ever seen you? Actually you wonder if she even knows you exist? The more you see her the more intriguing she becomes. Her looks, her smell, her body all become more intense. Next becomes the day dreaming and the imagery in your mind of what it would be like to engage in conservation. Of course it plays out perfect in your mind but you know from past experiences that it never seems to go that way. Everytime you see her your heart speeds up and all common sense seems to turn into jibberish and confusion. A few minutes later, after shes left the scene you begin to justify in your mind reasons for not making general conversation. At this point you'd settle for eye contact, a slight smile, or a simple hi would even suffice.

Atleast that was me. Once upon a time until I started wearing "UNEEK" clothing. Now I simply put on one of my Uneek shirts and all worries are gone. Women approach me so much that sometimes now I have to pretend to be in my own world. Its mind boggling. I put on that shirt and there's instantaneous "Swagger"!

Probably a little sore from leaving the gym where we ran seven games and hit the weights after. Life is a piece of cake. ONly cause we properly channel our stress. Man was that a long plane ride from Detroit to Vegas. My back is killing me but im excited because I know exactly how to use my new G1.
